Fuel stations in St. Kitts cluster in and around Basseterre. Once you leave town they thin out, and on two of the best rides there are none at all. Know where to fill up before you go.
What fuel costs
The government sets a maximum pump price, and each brand announces its own under that cap. From 9 September 2026, unleaded gasoline was EC$16.69 a gallon at Delta and EC$16.93 at SOL. That is about US$6.20 a gallon.
Prices change every few weeks. A cut in fuel tax runs to 30 September 2026, so expect a rise after that unless it is extended. The Ministry of Public Infrastructure publishes each new price.
Where to fill up
Basseterre
Most of the island’s stations are here: SOL on Wellington Road and on Cayon Street, and Delta on Camps Main Road. Delta Camps is open 24 hours. If you are heading anywhere quiet, fill up in town.
West coast
Going round the island clockwise, there is a Delta at Boyds and a SOL at Sandy Point, near the Brimstone Hill turn. Sandy Point is your last chance for a while.
The north and the Atlantic side
No station is mapped through Dieppe Bay or Saddlers. The next one is near Cayon, about 24 km after Sandy Point.
Where there is none
There is no fuel station on the Southeast Peninsula. None of the beaches out there, from Friar’s Bay to Cockleshell, has one. We know of none at Frigate Bay either. Fill the tank in Basseterre before you ride the peninsula road.

Prices are in EC dollars. Carry some EC cash in case the station does not take your card.
