LICENSING

The temporary driver's licence in St. Kitts and Nevis

Visiting drivers and riders in St. Kitts and Nevis are normally required to obtain a local temporary licence before driving. This page explains what that means for a scooter rental, and where Revura helps.

This page cannot be published as-is Every legal statement on this page is a placeholder. The master build brief bars publishing unverified claims about licence classes, engine-size rules, exemptions, international driving permits and government fees, and this page is made almost entirely of exactly those claims.

Before launch, each item below has to be confirmed against current St. Kitts and Nevis government or police guidance, the official source recorded, and the last-verified date set. Getting this wrong is not a marketing problem – it is a visitor being stopped by police on a road they do not know.

The verified licence rules.

Visitors driving in St. Kitts and Nevis are generally required to obtain a local temporary driver’s licence, issued on presentation of a valid home licence and payment of a government fee. Whether that applies to a scooter of a given engine size, which licence class it requires, and whether an international driving permit changes the position are not stated on this page until they are verified.
