POLICY
Rental terms
The agreement between you and Revura Scooter Rentals. You accept these when you book, and again in writing at handover.
This prototype supplies the structure a rental agreement needs and the headings a customer will look for. It does not draft the terms themselves. An invented rental agreement is not a placeholder problem, it is a liability – a customer in a dispute will quote this page back at Revura, and a court would read it as written. The wording has to come from Revura and be checked by someone competent to draft it for St. Kitts and Nevis.
1. Who this agreement is between
[the renting party] and the rider named on the booking.
2. Who may ride
Only a rider approved by Revura at booking may ride the scooter. The published rider requirements form part of this agreement. Allowing anyone else to ride is a breach of these terms.
[consequences of unapproved use]
3. Rental period
The rental runs from the time of handover to the agreed return time. Late return is charged at [late return fee].
4. Security deposit
A deposit of [deposit amount] is taken at pickup as [hold or cash] and released [release timing] after the return inspection.
Deductions may be made for damage, loss, fuel shortfall, late return, cleaning and fines. Any deduction is evidenced against the condition photographs taken at handover.
[deduction schedule]
5. Condition, damage and loss
The scooter is photographed at pickup and at return. The return inspection uses the same checklist as the pickup inspection.
[damage and loss liability]
6. Fuel
[fuel rule]
7. Permitted use
The following are not permitted:
- Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Carrying a passenger where the passenger policy does not permit it
- Exceeding the combined weight limit
- Riding without the supplied helmet
- Allowing an unapproved person to ride
- Riding off-road, on beaches, or on surfaces the scooter is not intended for
- Racing, competition or stunt riding
- Using the scooter for hire, reward or delivery work
- Taking the scooter off the island without written agreement
- [further prohibited uses]
8. Insurance and liability
9. Breakdown and roadside support
If the scooter becomes unrideable, stop safely and contact Revura on WhatsApp with your location. Do not attempt roadside repairs.
Roadside support is part of the Revura SafeRide System. It is a set of procedures, not insurance, and it does not guarantee that a breakdown or delay cannot happen or that a rental can always be continued.
[breakdown remedy]
10. Accidents
[accident procedure]
11. Traffic offences and fines
Fines, penalties and charges incurred during the rental are the rider’s responsibility. [post-rental fine handling]
12. Refusal and termination
Revura may refuse to hand over the scooter, or end a rental in progress, on the grounds set out on the rider requirements page.
[refusal refund position]
13. Cancellation
Cancellation is governed by the cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Your information
Documents you upload or present are handled as described in the privacy policy. Revura does not send licence details, identification or payment information to advertising or analytics platforms.
15. Governing law
[governing law and jurisdiction]
