THE REVURA SAFERIDE SYSTEM
What we do before you ride away
SafeRide is the set of procedures Revura follows on every rental. It is not insurance, and it does not guarantee that an accident, breakdown or delay cannot happen. It is simply what gets done, every time, written down so you know what to expect.
1
Rider qualification
We check riding experience, licence and recent riding history before a booking is confirmed. Revura rents to experienced riders only.
2
Temporary-licence guidance
We explain what a visiting rider needs in St. Kitts and Nevis and how to get it. See the temporary-licence guide.
3
Inspection before every rental
Tyres, brakes, lights, mirrors, horn and fuel are checked before the scooter is handed over, and the check is recorded.
4
Helmet fitting and visibility
A correctly fitted helmet is issued with every rental, along with high-visibility equipment.
5
Practical scooter-control check
A short handling check before you leave. It confirms you are comfortable with this scooter, not that you can learn to ride on it.
6
Route and return planning
We agree a realistic route and a return time before you set off, including the latest safe turnaround point for cruise visitors.
7
Documented handover photographs
The scooter’s condition is photographed at pickup and again at return, so the deposit conversation is based on evidence.
8
GPS-supported roadside help
If something goes wrong, send your location on WhatsApp and we come to you. [response-time statement]
9
Transparent return inspection
The return check uses the same list as the pickup check, and the deposit and damage procedure is set out in the rental terms.
THE FLEET
Two scooters, both maintained by us
Revura runs a small fleet on purpose. Every scooter is inspected before it goes out and we know the exact history of each one.
ARRIVING BY CRUISE SHIP
Off the ship at Port Zante, on the road shortly after
Cruise-day rentals are built around your all-aboard time, not around a fixed clock. We plan the route backwards from the moment you have to be back at the pier.
- Pickup a short walk from the cruise pier at Port Zante
- We ask for your ship and date so timing is planned properly
- An agreed latest safe turnaround point on every route
- A return buffer built in before all-aboard
- If your ship misses the port, see the missed-port terms

STAYING ON THE ISLAND
We bring the scooter to your hotel, villa or Airbnb
Multi-day visitors do not need to come to us. We deliver, run the handover on site, and collect at the end of your stay.
- Delivery to hotels, villas, Airbnbs and marinas
- Delivery zones and fees: [zones and fees]
- Delivery hours: 8:00am to 10:00am and 4:00pm to 6:00pm, seven days a week. These windows sit outside the Port Zante collection window, so a cruise morning never clashes with a delivery.
- Overnight parking agreed before delivery
- Collection arranged for your departure day
WHERE PEOPLE RIDE
Routes we can plan with you
Riding times below are estimates until each route has been physically ridden and timed. Verified routes are marked as such on the routes page.
Port Zante to Timothy Hill
The two-ocean viewpoint over the Southeast Peninsula. The short ride most cruise visitors have time for.
Port Zante to Cockleshell Beach
Down the Southeast Peninsula to the beach facing Nevis. A longer ride with a proper stop at the end.
St. Kitts Island Loop
The full circuit past Brimstone Hill and Black Rocks. A full-day ride, not a cruise-day ride.
REVIEWS
What riders say
No reviews published yet
Revura has not collected customer reviews for the scooter rental yet, and this website will not display invented testimonials or reviews borrowed from another business. Real reviews appear here as riders leave them.
Build note: this block is the “Review section” saved template. When genuine reviews exist, each one shows the customer type, cruise or hotel context, route, rental duration, review source and review date, per brief section 15.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you book
Yes. Revura rents to experienced riders only. St. Kitts has left-side driving, steep sections, roundabouts and variable road surfaces, and a rental is not the place to learn. If you have not ridden a scooter or motorcycle recently, a taxi or a rental car is the better choice for your trip.
You need a valid licence from your home country, and visiting drivers in St. Kitts and Nevis are normally required to obtain a local temporary licence before driving or riding. Requires verification before publication The exact licence class required for a scooter, any engine-size exemptions, and whether an international driving permit is sufficient must be confirmed against current St. Kitts and Nevis government or police guidance. See the temporary-licence page.
Revura’s minimum renter age is [minimum age]. This is a Revura operating rule and is separate from any legal minimum. Both are set out on the rider requirements page.
[passenger policy] Where passengers are permitted, the combined weight limit is [combined weight limit] and a helmet is provided for the passenger as well.
The security deposit is [deposit amount], taken [deposit method]. It is released after the return inspection. The full deposit and damage procedure is in the rental terms.
Cruise visitors collect at Port Zante. Stay-over visitors can have the scooter delivered to their hotel, villa or Airbnb. Exact meeting instructions are on the Port Zante pickup page and the hotel delivery page.
Rain changes grip, visibility and stopping distance, and it is the most common reason we advise a rider to shorten or postpone a route. Our weather policy is [weather policy].
Send your location on WhatsApp and we come to you. Roadside support is part of the SafeRide System. It is not a guarantee that a breakdown or delay cannot happen, and cruise visitors should always keep the agreed return buffer.
Cancellation terms are [cancellation terms]. Missed-port and ship-cancellation situations are handled separately and are set out on the cancellation policy page.
Still unsure?
If you are not certain you qualify, ask before you book. It is a short conversation and it saves a refused rental at pickup.
