Cancellation policy

What happens if you cancel, if your ship does not dock, if the weather turns, or if Revura cannot hand over the scooter.

What you get back depends on how much notice you give, and the notice bands are in the table below. A missed port, a cancelled cruise, weather that makes riding unsafe, a cancellation by Revura and a rental refused at handover are each handled in their own section. This policy forms part of the rental terms. Revura has not yet supplied the notice periods and refund amounts, so each section below names what is still missing.

Not drafted – requires Revura’s real terms The cancellation terms. Cruise passengers read this page before they book, and a vague answer here costs bookings. An invented refund schedule costs more, because a customer will hold Revura to it. The notice periods and refund amounts have to be Revura’s own decision.

What happens if you cancel?

The refund depends on how much notice you give:

Notice givenRefund of booking amount
notice band 1 refund 1
notice band 2 refund 2
notice band 3 refund 3
No-show no-show position

How to cancel: [cancellation method]

What if your ship misses the port?

Weather and sea state cancel St. Kitts calls. If your ship does not dock you did not choose to cancel, and Revura handles that separately from a cancellation you make yourself. The same policy appears on the cruise visitor guide, alongside the timing rules for a day ashore.

Policy required The missed-port policy.

What if your cruise is cancelled?

A cancelled sailing is handled separately from a port your ship missed.

Policy required The ship-cancellation policy.

What if the weather makes riding unsafe?

Revura may shorten, postpone or decline a rental where conditions make riding clearly unsafe. That judgement sits with us, and we would rather make it than have a visitor make it under time pressure.

Policy required The weather policy.

What happens if Revura cancels?

If a scooter becomes unavailable through mechanical failure, damage on a previous rental or any other cause on our side, we will tell you as soon as we know.

Policy required Revura’s own-cancellation remedy.

What if Revura refuses the rental at handover?

Revura may refuse to hand over the scooter on the grounds set out on the rider requirements page. This is why rider qualification happens at booking rather than at the pickup point. The refusal clause of the rental terms covers the same ground.

Policy required The refusal refund position.

How do you change a booking?

[amendment policy]

Before you ask to move a date, check whether a scooter is free on the new one.

How does Revura pay refunds?

[refund method and timing]

What you pay at booking and what is due at pickup are set out on the scooter rental prices page.
